Engineering Intern / Co-Op

About the Role

Hendrickson is seeking a talented student to join our team as a PATH Student Program Member, supporting the Chattanooga facility in optimizing production. This hands-on opportunity allows students to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting, gaining valuable experience in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chattanooga facility in optimizing production by updating and modifying plant layout.
• Develop standardized work instructions for the facility.
• Assist in tool design for the drum manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong hands-on mechanical skills.
• Preferred to be at the Sophomore or Senior Level.
• Previous Co-op experience or ability to work back-to-back sessions is a plus.
• Strong PC Skills (spreadsheets, database management, word processing) are a must, and proficiency in data processing/scripting is a plus.
• Strong numeric and analytical skills.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
