Engineering Intern

About the role

As a paid engineering intern, you will gain valuable experience in the civil engineering industry. This is a temporary, part-time, non-benefited internship position with flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil infrastructure project development, design calculations, modeling, technical research, and plans and figures development.
• Support office activities such as preparing spreadsheets, reviewing data, preparing presentations, technical training, and writing reports.

• Safety, Compliance, and Standards: Performs work in accordance with applicable regulations, professional standards, and internal guidance. Follows all safety procedures and company policies.
• Technical Learning and Task Execution: Performs assigned technical tasks under supervision using established procedures and guidance. Demonstrates attention to accuracy, completeness, and quality in assigned work.
• Project Participation: Learns project workflows, documentation standards, and internal processes. Communicates progress, questions, and issues to supervisors or project leads.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a Civil Engineering related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and problem solve with guidance from supervisors.
• Interest in pursuing a career in the engineering and environmental consulting industry.
