Responsibilities
- Aid engineers in applying engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
- Lead assigned projects, manage schedules, and track daily progress.
- Execute validation activities on critical manufacturing equipment and utilities.
- Investigate and implement manufacturing process improvement projects.
- Create and update asset management documents related to preventative maintenance and calibration requirements.
- Write process, utilities, and validation procedures, evaluate test results, and document actions within the quality system.
- Drive the integration of scientific and technological knowledge into the manufacturing organization to enhance plant performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve improvement objectives and monitor daily operations for improvement opportunities.
- Work with production operators, maintenance technicians, and vendors to solve technical problems.
Requirements
- Must be a team player and effectively collaborate with internal departments.
- Must demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing industry is required.
- Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an accredited Chemical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering program or related major.
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or graduate level education.
- Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.
- Preferred Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
- Preferred AutoCAD experience.
- Preferred current human resources and/or compensation credentials or certification.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
