Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Assists in product or system design under the guidance of another engineer.
• Assists in analyzing product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine possible design improvements.
• Assists in preparing product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Assists in performing engineering duties and subtasks in area of discipline of low complexity for a project or projects.
• Assists in development of equipment/owner’s manuals and spare parts lists.
• Follows all safety procedures when operating machinery.
• Keeps work area clean & organized so not to present a safety hazard.
• Assists with all special projects assigned by supervisor.
• Assists with Engineering projects as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college/university for drafting or engineering related degree program.
