Engineering Intern

Job Responsibilities

• Aid Project Engineers in preparing land development plans for both public and private clients.
• Contribute to the creation of site plans, including site grading, stormwater management, and utility design for proposed land development projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and reports.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team environment under the supervision of a Senior Professional Engineer.

Basic Requirement

In order to qualify, you must be enrolled in a relevant Engineering-oriented field of study (e.g., Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, etc.) at an ABET-accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with relevant CADD & Engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Proficiency in basic office software tools: MS-Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Excel, and Word) and Adobe PDF applications.
• Exposure to land development, water resources engineering, and/or stormwater management design projects is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
