Engineering Intern

About the role

Lewis Energy Group offers a field-focused internship program that serves as the starting point for a technical career in the upstream energy space. This ten-week program provides real work experience applicable to future careers, with opportunities to work alongside team members in ongoing South Texas natural gas operations. Interns participate in field trips conducted by technical professionals and work on projects that impact current and future operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform project-related work in their field
• Provide a summary of their work at the conclusion of the internship
• Operate under the supervision and mentoring of an industry professional
• Connect with personnel across the company
• Provide real solutions to situations involved

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS (or higher) degree in engineering from an accredited institution
• Completed sophomore year status and in good academic standing
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Valid driver's license
