Engineering Intern

About the role

EOG Resources, Inc. offers internship opportunities to university students pursuing a bachelor or master's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or other related Engineering degrees. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in a challenging work environment, supporting drilling and production operations, and facility design.

Responsibilities

• Support drilling and production operations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across both field and office settings
• Develop advanced working knowledge of field operations and the energy industry

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor or master's degree in petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or other related Engineering degrees
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across disciplines
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email applications
• Possess deductive reasoning skills and be able to analyze and synthesize information for problem solving
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, and demonstrate effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation
