Engineering Intern
About the role
The Danfoss North America Solutions Engineering team in Plymouth, Minnesota is seeking an intern for summer 2027! Our intern will support ongoing new system development programs applicable to agricultural and construction vehicles. As well as, be involved in design, analysis, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of hydraulic and electrical systems. If you desire real-world engineering experience in a fast-paced global company and a high performing team environment - this is a great opportunity for you! Plus, opportunities for further growth within Danfoss are possible! We are also open to ongoing part-time co-op work during the academic year after the summer internship. Responsibilities
- General support of ongoing research programs with both hands-on and theoretical engineering work
- Analyze, design, assemble, test and troubleshoot prototype multi-domain systems (hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, software and controls)
- Prototype testing in laboratory and vehicle environments
- Document results and draw conclusions to support lead engineers
