Engineering Intern

Build your engineering experience while helping shape the future of Paso Robles. The City of Paso Robles is seeking an engineering intern to join the Community Development Department’s Engineering Division. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting public infrastructure, development, and capital improvement projects while seeing how engineering work helps shape the community. Working alongside experienced City staff, you’ll build practical skills, apply what you’ve learned in the classroom, and contribute to projects that serve Paso Robles. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with an interest in municipal engineering and a desire to put classroom knowledge into practice. This part-time internship is scheduled for up to 17 hours per week for a maximum of one year, with the potential for a one-year extension by mutual agreement.
