Engineering Intern

What you will do

• Support engineering change requests
• Participate in cost saving projects and responsible for reporting
• Assist with product launches to achieve timeline milestones for production
• Support continuous improvement activities through time study evaluation, machinery implementation, machinery modification, and plant layout design changes
• Participate in Kaizen events
• Learn ways to provide technical support to skilled trades and operations related to downtime and machine throughput issues
• Help ensure all contractors are following the plant safety rules
• Support required actions based on results from Global Safety Audit
• Participate in corrective actions regarding machine safety issues as requested
• Other activities as assigned by Manager
