Engineering Intern
About the role
Aguirre & Fields is seeking a civil engineering student intern for their roadway division in Oklahoma City, OK. The intern will gain practical experience on various ODOT or county projects that impact the community.
Responsibilities
- Learn processes and procedures and assist in analysis and design.
- Provide engineering support assistance as required.
- Prepare plans utilizing MicroStation, OpenRoads.
- Calculate projects' quantities and cost estimates.
- Conduct project site visits.
- Complies with all Company policies, procedures, practices, and rules.
- Assumes other duties as directed.
Requirements
Enrolled and actively in the process of obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program. Completion of two years of a degree program with acceptable academic standing at a recognized educational institution. Experience with MicroStation or equivalent drafting software. Experience with Excel Spreadsheet & Word.
