About the role

This role supports the Program Manager C2 Transport at APG, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Tactical Network design, integration, automation, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document engineering, integration, and readiness processes for CPE C2IN Tactical Network systems.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for Configuration item baselines.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the integrated product team and other technical forums at the PM C2 Transport, CPE C2IN, and subordinate agency level.
• Avoid and assess the efficacy of engineering and integration processes with program, project, and product management offices.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria; make minor adaptations and modifications as necessary.
• Manage, maintain, and automate Configuration Management tools.
• Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables.
• Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments.
• Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
• Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.
• Bring knowledge of Army organization structure and Unit Task Organization concepts.
• Effectively communicate and lead integrated project teams.
• Provide independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in Tactical Network design, integration, automation, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of Tactical Network design and integration.
• Proficient in Configuration Management and version control systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Engineering, Testing, or related field; Discipline: Engineering or related scientific/technical discipline.
