About the role
Ameren's collegiate internship and co-op program provides real work experience, networking opportunities, and professional growth for students pursuing engineering degrees outside of electrical, mechanical, or civil disciplines. This posting is for 2027 Engineering Fall Co-Op openings across Illinois and Missouri, with options for May–December employment.
All collegiate coworkers directly impact Ameren's mission to Power the Quality of Life. Location decisions will be made during the hiring process, and Ameren offers a housing stipend for those temporarily relocating if minimum requirements (living and attending school 50+ miles from the work location) are met.
Requirements
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (excluding electrical, mechanical, or civil) from an accredited college or university.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, determined by factors including skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity.
