Engineering Director - Corporate Giving

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Corporate Giving engineering organization from early-stage to high-performing
• Recruit and develop engineering talent while building management depth as the domain grows
• Coach engineers on spec-driven development and AI-assisted delivery practices
• Own the technical direction and product roadmap for Corporate Giving
• Migrate from legacy systems to a standalone disbursement service while ensuring compliance
• Set clear goals and metrics for delivery outcomes across the domain
• Cook up inter-team dependencies and remove process friction at organizational scale

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience; 5+ in engineering leadership at a Director level or equivalent
• Proven experience in building and scaling multi-team engineering organizations
• Experience co-owning a product roadmap with product leadership
• Deep technical credibility to evaluate architectural decisions and set non-functional requirements
• Familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js and AWS serverless infrastructure
• Experience with large-scale compliance programs such as SOC 2 or PCI-DSS
• Strong communication skills for effective engagement with clients and leadership

Pay

$140,000 – $190,000 annually
