Director, Engineering

The Director, Engineering oversees the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles and a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of complex software systems
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project scope and objectives
• Lead a team of software developers in delivering high-quality products on time and within budget
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in software engineering
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with version control systems (Git)

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL)
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools

$150,000 - $180,000 annually
