Compensation Overview
The hourly salary range for this position varies based on a number of factors including the scope, complexity, and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

What Is the Opportunity?
The internship is open to internal employees, 2026 Travelers Summer Interns, and Summer Students. Applications from outside these groups will not be considered at this time. However, we encourage interested candidates to apply for future openings.
What Will You Do?
- Gain hands-on experience in software engineering supported by a technology and business development curriculum, an assigned internship manager, and technical mentors.
- Apply concepts learned in academia to real-world settings during a 10-week experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater preferred; suggested majors include Software Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, and Cybersecurity.
- Exposure to Object-oriented programming (OOP) in one major language.
- Desired skillsets include:

Must Have
- Obtained or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a technology-related field.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
