Engineering Coach

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Coach to work with clients looking to break into or grow within engineering roles. This role includes teaching core engineering design and CAD skills, helping clients strengthen problem solving, technical skills, and research and development abilities. Coaches also guide clients through certification requirements, project management, and applying emerging tools like AI fundamentals and AI automation to their engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Teach core engineering design and CAD skills
• Help clients strengthen problem solving, technical skills, and research and development abilities
• Guide clients through certification requirements, project management, and applying emerging tools like AI fundamentals and AI automation to their engineering work
• Offer resume review and interview prep
• Provide networking strategy, salary negotiation, and support for those pursuing freelancing opportunities

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in engineering (as a practicing engineer, technical lead, or industry professional)
• A strong track record of solving complex technical problems
• A clear, structured approach to coaching clients through both technical and career growth

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse teams and clients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously

• Strong technical skills in engineering design and CAD
