Role Overview

This position offers engineering students an opportunity to gain practical experience through a co-op/internship program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing processes, equipment installation, and process improvements in areas such as assembly, welding, painting, stamping, casting, and machining.
  • Assist with quality testing of vehicles and components, analyze warranty data, and support testing procedures and validation.
  • Contribute to facilities and infrastructure design, update CAD drawings, and support HVAC, electrical, and structural analyses.
  • Design and troubleshoot tooling, equipment, and automation systems using CAD tools; support equipment installation and validation.
  • Help develop vehicle components, support testing, perform design calculations, and participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and parts investigation, ensuring quality and cost-effective solutions.
  • Conduct materials testing, metallurgical analysis, and failure investigations; prepare technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Classified as a sophomore or above, with the ability to work at least 10 weeks, 40 hours/week.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License and reliable transportation.
