Engineering - Class 1 Electrician

Overview

The Electrician at Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment. Responsibilities include:

• Schedule and complete equipment PMs.
• Operate and maintain low-pressure boiler for the hot water system.
• Operate and maintain other vessels as needed for hot water kitchen steam and air conditioning systems.
• Assist mechanics and external contractors with repairs of hotel property and equipment.
• Repair and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Repair and maintain swimming pool and pool equipment.
• Completion of all assigned work orders and daily tasks.
• Receive direction for house calls via radio.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
• Have a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Required to have a Class 2 operating engineer license.
• Knowledge of "household" repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• To work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• To exhibit a positive attitude at all times.
• To have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a motor vehicle background check.

Pay

Sign on Bonus: $1000 over the first 90 days.
