Engineering Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of engineering data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Develop and apply solutions to enhance process efficiency associated with the design stage of power transmission systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help ensure successful completion of projects
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
• Apply advanced software tools and models to inform engineering decision making

Requirements

• Eight or more years of experience interpreting technical drawings/documents and performing technical analysis; drafting using computer-aided design software; or performing engineering design, including at least five years of experience performing engineering design or other relevant experience.
• A degree in computer-aided design, engineering technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
• Driver's license

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field
• Experience with programming related to data analytics applications
• Experience with energy infrastructure related projects
• Outstanding ability to develop and successfully implement innovative solutions
• Proven track record of working in a collaborative and inclusive environment

Skills

• Experience with tools such as Oracle BI, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL Databases
