Engineering - Aluminium Casting Die Design / Tool Design

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tool Design Engineer with expertise in High-Pressure Die Casting (HPDC), Low-Pressure Die Casting (LPDC), and Continuous Pressure Casting (CP).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tooling for HPDC, LPDC, and CP processes.
• Utilize CAD software (NX), Magma, or Flow 3D for tool design and simulation.
• Interpret simulation results to optimize tool performance.
• Conduct drawing studies and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Develop and model core and cavity designs in both 2D and 3D.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of tooling concepts, including gate, runner, overflow, vent, core, and cavity design.
• Hands-on experience with CAD software (NX) and simulation tools (Magma or Flow 3D).

Qualifications

• Diploma, BE, or B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 2 to 12 years of experience in tool design for die casting processes.
