Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with Test Planning and Management engineers, taking on tasks that range from administrative support to hands-on involvement in project planning and execution
- Affords assistance to Test Planning and Management engineers in designing, testing, and maintaining systems and equipment
- Captures and analyzes data, prepares reports and presentations
- Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and performs tests as directed
- Organizes and maintains engineering documents and records
- Provides technical support to other departments as required
- Affords assistance with the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
- Provides general administrative support to the engineering team as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Requires an associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in any field or discipline
- Needs three (3) years of experience in a professional work environment
- Requires experience working collaboratively as a member of a project team
- Needs demonstrated communication and teamwork skills, essential for success in a T&E team environment
- Requires strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Needs demonstrated ability to use common laboratory equipment and tools
- Needs proficiency in data entry and basic data analysis
- Prior experience working in a laboratory or field-test environment or with the concepts of T&E
- Familiarity with engineering standards and tools
- The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment
- Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time
- Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted

- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions
