About the Role
The Omaha Structures Group Lead uses creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems. This position also makes decisions and recommendations that are authoritative and have an important impact on extensive organizational activities. In addition, the Omaha Structures Group Lead sets priorities and reconciles directions from competing interests, while working on programs with complex features.
Responsibilities
- Lead a technical discipline team for the organization
- Develop standards and guidelines
- Perform additional tasks as required to meet business needs

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient with electronic communication including email and text, as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate skills in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
Additional Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE), equivalent, or authorization of CLPO
- Member of professional practice organization, national board member or officer, recognized expert on statewide activity, resource for national activities and organization
