Engineer Technologist

About the Role

Engineering Technologists support research and development activities within a field or specialization of an engineering discipline through the application of known engineering principles and practices in order to develop new concepts, products, equipment, or processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering tools (CAD, GD&T, programming languages, etc.) related to the specific engineering discipline (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, etc.).
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of products and services available within the discipline.
• Create test plans and technical reports for use by engineering or management personnel.
• Coordinate efforts by support specialists.

Skills

• Proficiency in engineering tools such as CAD, GD&T, and relevant programming languages.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices within a specific discipline.
• Ability to develop test plans and write technical reports.
• Coordination and collaboration with support specialists.
