What You’ll Do
- Provide technical and analytical support to Excellence Operational initiatives, ensuring the effective implementation and sustainability of the Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) and operational practices.
- Support daily management systems, process standardization, problem resolution activities, and continuous improvement projects that directly impact safety, quality, delivery, cost, and personnel indicators.
- Support Lean, OpA, ECIS, A3, and DMAIC initiatives in manufacturing and support areas.
- Assist in identifying performance opportunities related to performance, process variability, and waste through data collection and analysis.
- Follow up on continuous improvement action plans to ensure timely closure and effectiveness.
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma initiatives using DMAIC and A3 methodologies.
- Support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, variation, and process improvements.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of Tier 1-Tier 3 administration systems.
- Update and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), visual boards, and performance dashboards.
- Monitor standardized work and administrative routines.
- Assist in structured problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and corrective action validation.
- Support effectiveness verification to ensure problems are not recurring.
- Participate or facilitate improvement workshops and kaizen activities as needed.
- Support the development, update, and control of standardized work, process documentation, and continuous improvement records.
- Affirm compliance with OpA, ECIS, and Back to Basics standards.
- Support audits and maturity evaluations as required.
- Support the use and maintenance of digital OpEx tools (e.g., dashboards, CI tracking systems, visual management platforms).
- Prepare basic reports and summaries to support OpEx reviews and team meetings.
- Comply with Eaton’s Safety, Health, and Environmental (EHS), Quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a safety-first culture and report unsafe conditions or behaviors.
- Affirm that continuous improvement activities integrate safety, quality, and compliance considerations.
- Stop work and escalate concerns when risks of safety or quality are identified.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
- Preferably 2 years of experience in manufacturing or quality
- Tools ECIS and Lean Six Sigma, MS Office
- Intermediate to advanced English
- Statistical analysis skills
