We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor who will supervise the engineering team and ensure our hotel operates seamlessly, maintaining essential systems and implementing safety and security measures to protect guests, associates, and property.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Director of Engineering to oversee all building operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, aquatic facilities, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Supervise, direct, and inspect the Engineers/maintenance team on a daily basis to ensure their work productivity and quality meets standards and deadlines.
• Responsible for coordination and roll-out of projects as directed.
• Interact as needed with guests, contractors, and vendors.
• Knowledge of brand standards as well as service standards and meet expectations.
• Perform all assigned day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance projects as assigned.
• Conduct regular inspections via walk-throughs of public areas, back of the house areas, guest rooms, and exterior areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents including blueprints/schematics, procedure manuals, OSHA standards such as LockOut/TagOut, SDS, etc.
• Strong technical expertise in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems, including HVAC and refrigeration equipment, electrical systems, pools, fire alarm systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, building automation systems, and life-safety infrastructure.
• Knowledge of PM Systems such as HotSOS, Transcendent, and PM processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and/or maintain the building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
• Analytical skills to assess and identify problems and implement solutions.
• Must be able to safely use hand and power tools.
