Engineer, Structural Test

Responsibilities

The Engineer will conduct structural testing, including static, fatigue, and dynamic tests, supporting a variety of projects from small components to full-scale assemblies.

• Review test plans
• Coordinate with engineering and quality teams
• Ensure proper implementation of test requirements
• Design and fabricate test fixtures
• Create test setup documentation
• Lead technicians to accomplish testing tasks

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant testing experience
• Experience with instrumentation sensors such as strain gages, load cells, pressure sensors, thermocouples, extensometers, and displacement transducers
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 or equivalent and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills
• Problem‑solving abilities to develop and troubleshoot testing solutions, perform hardware analysis, and resolve setup issues
• Ability to work in environments with noise, heat, dust, and equipment odors
• Physical activity including lifting and moving items up to 10 lbs
• Emphasis on safety, clear communication, and adherence to regulatory standards
