About the role
Constellation is seeking Engineers and other skilled technical experts to support its nuclear fleet. The primary purpose of this position is to perform advanced engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced nuclear engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects.
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability ensuring compliance to customer's needs, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
- Accurately, completely, and timely ensure proper configuration management and assure that standard design criteria, practices and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
- Support plant design modifications, testing and problem solving.
- Assure all engineering products prepared or overseen are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement and coordinate functional supervisory activities including, but not limited to, personnel, budgetary accountabilities and planning goals with respect to engineering personnel.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 10 years of engineering experience. Demonstrated technical leadership experience (e.g. Duty team lead, inspection lead), teamwork and leadership attributes are required. Advanced technical degree or coursework is preferred.
Qualifications
Professional Engineer Registration is preferred.
Skills
Superior knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application, excellent knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations, recognized industry-level of expertise in a technical area.

Pay
Expected salary range of $151,200 to $168,000, varies based on experience.
