About the Role
As the Transmission Line Principal Engineer, you will manage the design of assigned transmission generation tie lines for Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage projects, as well as stand-alone transmission line projects. This role operates within the Engineering & Construction (E&C) Group, overseeing projects from conception (Early Stage) through construction and commissioning (Execution). - Coordinating with project teams to develop and secure routes, engineering data, and permits (e.g., geotechnical and LiDAR data).
- Competitively sourcing and selecting geotechnical, survey, engineering, and construction services, and supporting cost estimating with scope assumptions.
- Overseeing engineering deliverables, including Issued for Bid, Issued for Procurement, Issued for Construction, and As-built drawings, design criteria, and RFP contributions.
- Representing E&C’s interests in internal and external meetings, providing progress updates, issue resolution, and risk mitigation to management.
