Engineer Senior - Electrical - Hardware/Circuit Design

Advanced Analysis and Simulation

• Lead advanced analyses, including worst-case circuit analysis, parts stress analysis, and signal integrity assessments.
• Drive the development of simulation models and methodologies that push the boundaries of what's possible.

Digital and Analog Design Expertise

• Architect and implement sophisticated digital and analog designs, leveraging FPGAs, microprocessors, and high-speed communication interfaces.

Test and Validation

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and fixtures for chip and board-level validation.
• Create reusable circuits and test methodologies that enhance efficiency and reduce risk across multiple projects.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams, including parts engineers, layout engineers, and systems engineers.
• Define requirements, drive technical decisions, and ensure seamless integration of systems.

Anomaly Resolution and Root Cause Analysis

• Lead anomaly debugging, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Your expertise will be critical in resolving complex technical challenges and ensuring system reliability.

Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing

• Share your expertise with junior engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and technical standards within the team.

Maintain a Regular and Predictable Work Schedule

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company.
• Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

On-Site Work Environment

• This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location.
• Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.
• May occasionally work in production work centers where use of protective equipment and gear is required.
• May access other facilities in various weather conditions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 4 or more years related experience.
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience.
• Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Education must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
• Experience with electronic circuit design, electronic systems, as well as software.
• Hands on experience with lab power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and logic analyzers is required.
• Good communication skills, as well as presentation skills.

Pay Information

• Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914
