Engineer Product Design
New Product Development
Lead and coordinate global product development projects for Indexable Milling products.
Plan and execute engineering activities to achieve project deliverables, timelines, and performance objectives.
Establish technical specifications and functional requirements for new and existing products.
Conduct experimental analysis and product testing to validate product designs.
Provide engineering support to cross-functional project teams.
Collaborate with Product Management and Sales teams to identify market and customer requirements.
Work directly with customers to evaluate tooling applications and product performance.
Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and simulations to support product development.
Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to evaluate product designs.
Create and maintain 3D models and engineering documentation.
Support implementation of new products into manufacturing operations.
Technical Development
Provide engineering support to cross-functional project teams.
Collaborate with Product Management and Sales teams to identify market and customer requirements.
Work directly with customers to evaluate tooling applications and product performance.
Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and simulations to support product development.
Utilize Finite Element Analysis software; ANSYS and TWS preferred.
Create and maintain 3D models and engineering documentation.
Product Line Support
Maintain and expand existing product lines through continuous improvement and engineering support.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for existing product lines.
Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve technical challenges.
Utilize Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis techniques where appropriate.
Travel as required to support customer projects and development initiatives.
Maintain effective communication with global teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong teamwork, initiative, and accountability in project execution.
