As a Product Applications Engineer, you will be a technical expert helping Danfoss shape the future of data‑center liquid cooling. You will ensure our quick disconnects, hoses, and assemblies are successfully qualified, specified, and deployed in hyperscale and multi‑tenant environments. Your insights from customer programs will directly influence product strategy, engineering roadmaps, and new development priorities, strengthening Danfoss’ position as a trusted expert in fluid conveyance for next‑generation thermal management. Your work will accelerate design wins, improve system reliability, and support our mission of driving reliability, efficiency, and sustainability in data‑center liquid cooling.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expert on liquid‑cooling components within data‑center architecture—racks, manifolds, cold plates, CDUs.
  • Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators/OEM‑ODMs, and CDU manufacturers, including weekly technical touchpoints and onsite support.
  • Manage product qualification activities: define timelines, drive feasibility and validation testing, coordinate with other engineering functions, operations, and maintain customer open‑items trackers.
  • Execute quotation and part activation processes: coordinate with Sales, complete cost/lead‑time work, assign CRNs, and ensure smooth product setup in Salesforce and SAP.
  • Maintain technical documentation and revision control in Teamcenter, ensuring accuracy when sharing drawings and specifications.
  • Deliver trainings, webinars, application notes, and customer‑ready technical presentations.
  • Capture Voice of Customer (VOC) insights and translate market/engineering trends—such as single‑ and two‑phase cooling—into meaningful inputs for product development and the long‑term roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in applications, product, or field engineering, preferably within data centers, cooling systems, thermal management, or fluid conveyance.
  • Ability to interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, and system requirements—flow, pressure, materials, and connection types.
  • Strong communication and customer‑facing skills for technical presentations, training, and cross‑functional work.
  • Proficiency with engineering/PLM and commercial systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, and Salesforce is preferred.

Benefits

  • Promotion from within with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • Flexibility, autonomy, and support to maintain a healthy work‑life balance.
  • Inclusive work environment that respects and values people of all backgrounds.
  • Compensation elements such as a 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more (vary by country and contract).
