Reporting to the SH&E Manager, you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Support and implement the company’s Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policies and programs, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts or conditions, driving root cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, review, and improve safe operating procedures for equipment and processes.
- Prepare and submit periodic SHE compliance reports to management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Participate in emergency response planning, drills, and incident reviews to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend areas for improvement to operational processes, equipment reliability, and SHE performance.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the direct superior or company directors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an SHE, safety or engineering position within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Solid understanding of SHE management systems, compliance standards (ISO 14001/45001), and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of process safety management, incident investigation, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
