About the role

The Process Engineer is responsible for the development, standardization, quality, and continuous improvement of processes and products. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective operation of production processes, implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, introduction of new products, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and improves manufacturing or production processes to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Adheres to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all process operations.
• Diagnoses and resolves process-related problems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Applies Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Creates and maintains process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports.
• Works with design, quality, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure seamless process integration.
• Assists in scaling up and validating processes for new products or technologies.
• Ensures machinery and tools operate within specified parameters for optimal output.
• Provides technical guidance and training to hourly team members and other staff on process changes or best practices.
• Collaborates with IT and engineering teams to integrate digital tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ABET Accredited).
• 0-2 years of experience in an engineering field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• 2-4 years of experience in an engineering field.
