The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology development with the ability to work effectively independently, as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive, maintain and support the NVH modeling strategy
  • Support finite element code and methods development with focus on solid mechanics and acoustics applications for tire performance prediction
  • Support other engineers in the team via training, user support, debugging of design and performance concepts, and any special needs in the tire performance tools
  • Collaborate with the other engineers on the team to identify new or revised tire performance technologies, develop rules regarding those standards and technologies, document and codify such rules into knowledge manuals, and implement those rules, standards, and technologies in the tire performance manual
  • Participate in the design, development, and industrialization of tire engineering projects (applied and fundamental) which result in new tire products, processes, tools and technologies
