About the role
Responsible for implementing and maintaining secure network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure network solutions
- Monitor network performance and security alerts
- Implement and manage firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Perform vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in network security
- CCNA certification or equivalent
- Experience with network monitoring tools and security protocols
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SSL/TLS
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Understanding of cloud-based security solutions
