About the Role
Develops and evaluates metrology calibration systems that measure characteristics of objects. Identifies magnitude of error sources contributing to uncertainty of results to determine reliability of measurement process in quantitative terms. Develops calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy and precision requirements.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of relevant exempt experience. Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is $56,000.00 to $71,000.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
Full-time, 1st shift. Travel is required, 10%-25% of the time.
