Role Overview: The Design Manufacturing Engineer develops and optimizes manufacturing processes for aircraft products, collaborating with engineering to ensure producibility, develop tooling, and implement process improvements. Key Responsibilities Own production process definition and implementation for assigned areasIdentify, approve, and troubleshoot tooling requirements and deficienciesReview and approve engineering drawings and models for manufacturabilityCoordinate engineering and shop floor changes, creating installation build plansManage design for manufacturability requests and review change requests impacting production Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical, or aerospace preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or related fieldExpertise in designing and supporting fabrication, assembly, and tooling for detail parts and installationsProficient in 2D/3D CAD, GD&T, and manufacturing process validationExperience with CATIA V5/V6, SAP, project management, and team leadershipStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and supplier cost analysis skillsSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and lead teams within an integrated product environment
