About the role

The Design Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing manufacturing processes for aircraft products, ensuring producibility, evaluating build methods, and supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Developing manufacturing processes for aircraft products
• Ensuring producibility
• Evaluating build methods
• Supporting process improvements
• Taking ownership of process definition and implementation
• Approving tooling and engineering drawings
• Reviewing changes
• Creating installation plans
• Managing design for manufacturability requests
• Assessing change requests for production impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• At least 2 years of experience

Skills

• Supporting manufacturability reviews
• Developing assembly and installation plans
• Evaluating design configurations for risks
• Reviewing technical drawings (with proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 and GDT)
• Troubleshooting manufacturing issues
• Performing vendor cost analysis
