Responsibilities

  • Solves guest’s problems and handles all guest requests.
  • Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplishes assigned work orders, and does all necessary repairs.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
  • Completes the duty rounds checklists, reports, and corrects noted problems.
  • Responsible for correct use of office equipment, EMS system and Life Safety Systems (training provided).
  • Performs swimming pool chemical tests, makes corrections, and has a working knowledge of pool equipment (training provided).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years’ experience in a similar job in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Certified pool operator preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Pay

$18/hr. – Biweekly (every two weeks)

Schedule

The hospitality industry is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days of the year. All candidates must be available and are expected to work Texas A&M football game days, Ring Days, graduations, and other high occupancy times due to special events. We strive hard to manage and minimalize overtime, but it should and will be expected when business levels call for it. Full-time: 30+ hours per week depending on level of business forecasted. Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on level of business forecasted. Shift options: Primarily 3PM-11:30 PM, Varying between AM and PM (projected 8 hours a day).
