About the role

Join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown as a Maintenance Technician. You will maintain guest rooms and common areas to ensure optimal comfort and safety for our guests and associates, demonstrating problem-solving skills and technical expertise to efficiently address and resolve maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms and common areas for guest and associate comfort and safety.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and technical expertise to resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Promptly attend to guest requests with courtesy to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds to uphold the property's aesthetic appeal.
• Keep mechanical areas orderly, safe, and clean while maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

• Preferred high school diploma with technical or vocational training.
• General knowledge of carpentry, painting, and electrical fields.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with Kemper Insurance Red Tag System and ability to operate a pickup truck may be necessary.
• Capability to lift at least 40 pounds.
