Key Job Responsibilities
- Analyze mechanical components, structures, and systems in concept, design, or hardware stages to ensure adequate performance for the intended function.
- Recommend and evaluate design modifications to solve product reliability issues, improve performance, and add value.
- Participate in the development of advanced analytical methods and techniques utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
- Perform in engineer projects to develop, maintain and support components, products and/or services per market demands, and for continual process improvements.
- Perform or conduct engineering evaluations including investigations, fundamental calculations, and tests that have well defined requirements and desired outcomes.
- Provide conceptual and strategic solutions to solve problems associated with engineering projects or evaluations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant discipline, required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, design, machine application, required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering structural analysis, using tools such as Ansys Mechanical, Abaqus, Nastran, etc…, required.
- Strong background in engineering calculations and fundamentals including strength of materials, closed-form calculations, free-body diagrams, fatigue theory, and engineering physics, required.
- Interest in, and willingness to use Agentic AI other assistive technology, required.
- Interest in, and willingness to learn Python, C++, or other coding languages, required.
- Experience in cross-functional team assignment(s), required.
