Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical and economic evaluations, performance testing, design and construction of new and existing facilities, and research on new developments.
  • Apply strong understanding of industry and operational requirements.
  • Take initiative and anticipate customer needs.
  • Show confidence in presentation-making and work independently and as a team leader.

Requirements

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans, and meet training needs.
  • Promote processes, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Monitor and control costs and resources associated with projects.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum of eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE Certification.
  • Multiple years of experience leading interactions, primarily inspections, with PHMSA or state pipeline safety agencies covering pipeline safety regulations (49 CFR Parts 192 and/or 195).
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulations and ability to interpret and revise applicable company procedures as regulations change overtime.

Skills

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
  • Proficient in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area.
