About the role
The Core HR Technology team at Edward Jones is seeking an experienced Engineer III to design, develop, test, and support software solutions that enable core HR business processes. This role involves building and maintaining integrations with Oracle Fusion HCM and other enterprise applications, developing and supporting Java-based applications and services, creating and optimizing SQL queries, and troubleshooting complex application and production issues.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support software solutions that enable Core HR business processes.
- Build and maintain integrations with Oracle Fusion HCM and other enterprise applications.
- Develop and support Java-based applications and services.
- Create and optimize SQL queries and data solutions.
- Support and maintain AutoSys job scheduling processes.
- Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.
- Partner with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to the implementation of our new HCM platform and evolving technology architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with AutoSys.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale HCM implementations or migrations.
- Experience with cloud technologies and system integrations.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of HR business processes and data management.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
