Summary Of Position Functions
The role will design, implement, and optimize building automation systems that control various commercial systems including HVAC, lighting, and access control. The engineer will optimize control sequences to reduce energy consumption and increase facility wide energy efficiency.
Essential Position Functions
- Aids engineering and project teams with design, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems.
- Writes and optimizes building automation control sequences to reduce energy consumption and increase facility efficiency.
- Aids project teams with the creation of design and construction documents as they relate to building automation systems and other Veregy technology products.
- Troubleshoots low voltage circuitry in the field and verifies that functional requirements are met.
- Responds to and rectifies customer issues or occupant comfort complaints in a timely manner.

Education And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or software) from a four-year college or university; or ten + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 15 + years' in building automation system design and implementation required.
- Chilled water systems knowledge preferred.
- Distech, Reliable Controls, or Honeywell experience required.
- Tridium Niagara AX / N4 certification required.
- Knowledge of and experience with at least one CAD or 3D modeling software required.

- Tridium Niagara AX / N4 certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
