Engineer III, Cloud - CTIO (Hybrid)

About the role

We’re building the next generation technologies which will power CrowdStrike for the next ten years. You’ll join a fast-moving team taking a blank-slate approach to scaling our systems and using AI to stop breaches. This is a hybrid role based out of our offices in Redmond, WA, Sunnyvale, CA, Austin, TX, NYC, or Toronto with an expectation of being in the office at least 2 days per week.

What you'll do

• Lead efforts in defining and implementing significant components of our new cloud architecture, collaborating with our most senior technologists
• Deliver low-latency and highly scalable services
• Partner closely with our desktop agent and AI teams
• Drive continuous improvement in hiring, design reviews, post mortems, and growing the technical skills our team needs to excel

What you'll need

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience building and operating high-volume, highly resilient Tier-1 cloud services and systems
• Strong knowledge of Go, Java, or similar technologies
• Skill at finding simply elegant solutions to complex problems
• Ability to move fast and deal with ambiguity while leading collaboration across teams
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in writing and verbally
• Experience driving technical decisions across groups and stakeholders
• Strong sense of ownership in what you build
• Passion for developing teams through code reviews, design reviews and mentorship
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes

Pay

For U.S. candidates: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.

For Canadian candidates: $115,000 - $165,000 CAD per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. This is Canadian-based employment, and it is expected that all employees maintain legal entitlement to work in Canada.
