This position is first shift on a 4/10 work schedule Monday through Thursday. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the requirement to perform all work onsite, this role will be performed full-time on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging on a wide variety of moderately complex production components, subassemblies, and systems using data sheets, schematics, wiring diagrams, established test specifications, and standard test procedures.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of test equipment, subassemblies, and components related to electronics and fundamental electrical principles.
  • Set up and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with prescribed procedures on a variety of test stands and fixtures.
  • Work with engineering instructions and standard procedures on duties as required.
  • Designate rework instructions where necessary and test after preventative maintenance measures on specified test stands and fixtures.
  • Approve or reject results; notify supervisor of unusual conditions or undesirable trends.
  • Work with various groups to confirm the functionality of equipment for current and future production needs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to acquire Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to manage time in relation to workload.
  • Experience collaborating and communicating with a team.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of electronic troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • 2 years of test station troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Current Secret Clearance.
  • Preventative Maintenance experience.
  • Multigroup task management.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $79,365 - $134,921. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
