This role is a key technical contributor within the Systems Test Engineering organization, applying knowledge of software verification and validation methodologies combined with strong software engineering skills.

Please note this is a full-time onsite position in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and support infrastructure for instrument and system-level testing.
  • Develop reusable test libraries, device interfaces, protocol libraries, utilities, and common automation components across instrument platforms and downstream system integrations.
  • Build hardware-in-the-loop solutions (software simulators and emulators) for devices and external systems to enable isolated and reproducible testing.
  • Develop automation for system, integration, functional, regression, communication protocol, performance, and reliability testing across microservice-based software and hybrid on-prem/cloud infrastructure.
  • Validate protocol and data integrations (e.g., HL7, WCTP, and other device communication protocols) between in-house and third-party devices and downstream system services.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous validation and rapid feedback.
  • Develop solutions for automated test execution, data collection, logging, reporting, and results analysis.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container/orchestration tooling (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
