Engineer II - Reliability

About the role

Work with cross-functional teams in Maintenance, Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Maintenance Planner in SAP to organize and plan continuous improvement and root-cause analysis of equipment reliability and preventative maintenance (PM) data and activities. Provide documentation structure and reporting data to maintenance leadership on reliability and PM performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive infrastructure change within the maintenance realm by collaborating with subject-matter experts from SBR and ZFGC maintenance departments.
• Become a subject-matter expert in SAP-PM modules for data entry, PM planning, and scheduling.
• Develop facilities equipment PM documentation, reporting, and legal documentation to support government and local requirements.
• Proactively support modifications to maintenance procedures for continuous improvement.
• Train users on existing role requirements to maintain effective day-to-day maintenance data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 3-4+ years of relevant experience (automotive industry strongly preferred).
• Prior experience as a maintenance skilled trades, maintenance technician, or maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
• Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office (Excel), and excellent communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without company sponsorship.
