About the role
The world's largest aerospace and defense company, RTX, seeks an individual to join its Collins Aerospace team. This role is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Cook up test equipment design reviews and ensure the creation of appropriate design documentation
- Review product designs and craft test solutions that maximize test coverage in manufacturing and service environments
- Design and build prototypes using mechanical and electrical components
- Integrate equipment and lab setups for testing
- Create and release engineering documentation
Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Experience with circuit design
- Proven experience with software skills in Python and C#
- Experience with testing units and systems in a lab environment
- Experience with design and production phases of product development
- Experience researching specifications for commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) components and performing component/unit selection trade studies

Pay
The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $131,100 annually.
